Leaving the print media in 2000, Alda walked through the doors of Sumner Cable TV and with Jud MItchell's blessings a visual mini-newspaper on Channel 5 soon emerged. Later, another cable operation, Channel 55 was started. Her first scripted production, "Coaches Corner" was filmed in the kitchen of Cable TV.
